Graduates of this program shall be conferred with the degree of Doctor of Medicine. Graduates may use the title “M.D.” after their names, only after they have been issued the license to practice medicine by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Doctor of medicine
The degree of Doctor of Medicine is the primary educational qualification for the Physicians’ Licensure Examination (PLE) in the Philippines which is equivalent to Level 7 of the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) and International Standard Classification of Education (ISCEd).
