The UNP Student Council is the supreme student organization of UNP, the power and authority of which emanates from the students of the university. It shall be the sole, unified, autonomous and democratic representative body of the students.
            
            The UNP Student Council shall serve as the protector and promoter of the  students interest, rights and welfare.

            The UNP Student Council is the highest Executive body representation of students having the power to plan, formulate and implement all polices, when the USLA is not in session. It is the representation of all the students to the administration.

            The fund of the student council is coming from the SC membership fee (Php. 10.00) that is collected per student during enrollment. The UNP-SC manages the student development fund (SDF) and Student Miscellaneous Fun (SMF) for the improvement of students’ facilities, equipment and services for better learning.

            The UNPSC believes that education should promote total and well-rounded development of every student in order to realize a human and humane existence for all. Thus it shall enhance critical thinking,  including ability to make informed judgment, free of dogmas.

            Every College has an Academic Unit Council (AUC). They are mandated organizations and the president of an AUC will be the college representative to the Student Council.
The UNP Student Council shall be governed by the elected officers. They shall govern the different organizations in the university with the absolute leadership and representation to the University Student Council.
