  2. Coordinate with national education authorities and social partners with regard to fulfilling the University’s contribution in the United Nation’s SDGs.
  3. Develop, disseminate & transfer University-developed technologies for public consumption.
  4. Collaborate with key government agencies and the private sector in hosting S&T road shows, technology business incubation and entre-Pinoy mentoring activities.

  1. Adopt the “Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle” to ensure a systematic approach to translate VMGOs (vision, mission, goals and objectives) into desired learning outcomes.
  2. Create quality circles in every college and implement competency-based standards (to ensure the University system’s compliance with relevant laws and policies).
  3. Develop a learning organization where retraining and learning new skills would enable faculty, employees and students to cope with the demands of a rapidly changing workplace.
  4. Pursuit of ISO accreditation of the different colleges of the university
  5. Utilize the QS ranking system to transform UNP as a globally recognized university.

  1. Collaborate with local, regional, national and international institutions through MOUs and MOAs for possible partnerships in instruction, research and extension.
  2. Produce and publish scholarly work in internationally recognized journals to attract an international audience.

  1. Establish Quality Management Circles and Executive Council for participatory management.
  2. Implement a comprehensive ICT plan through modernization of University services (including unified data automation/ information processing).
  3. Institutionalize quality-based operations, transparent governance and results-based management (by improving the quality of teaching and learning, quality of professional exposure, research, and creative work, and support for students).
  4. Integrate and synchronize office operations based on clearly defined university planning system; accountability, awareness and management of risk, and effective monitoring of performance.

  1. Strengthen effort to protect and safeguard cultural and natural heritage in coordination with national government agencies (particularly the NCCA and its attached agencies including the NHC, National Museum, Commission on the Filipino Language, LGUs and local theater arts group).
  2. Preserve/retrofit & maintain the luster of the only remaining heritage building in the university & develop it into an interactive museum promoting Ilocano culture.
  3. Maintain and enrich the University Museum as custodians of arts and heritage.
  4. Tap expertise of various colleges in the promotion, preservation and exposition of genuine Ilocano arts and crafts (such as zarzuela, puppetry, folk songs, jewelry making (tambourine), loom weaving (Abel Iloko) to the international community).
