Class Silnag sustains College of Nursing’s strength in numbers


The College of Nursing’s strength in numbers in the Nursing Licensure Examination remains undisputed.

Class Silnag or the Class of 2023 of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program of the University registered a 98.06% passing rate (202 passers out of 206 first-time takers) in the examination held on November 11-12, 2023. Results were announced on December 2, 2023.

On top of this feat is Mr. Kzter Cedrick de Roma Gacula who landed at the eighth place with a rating of 89.6.

Moreover, 13 out of 18 retakers (72.22%) also passed the exam. UNP’s overall passing rate is 95.98%, which is higher than the national passing rate of 80%.

The University community, headed by Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, rejoices with the newly registered nurses, their families, and the College of Nursing headed by Dr. Francis Don L. Nero.

One of the best in the University, the BSN always registers close to 100% board exam passing rate.

As registered nurses, the members of Class Silnag are ready to contribute to society’s aspiration for good health and well-being.
