Thai DBA students share key business strategies at ASEAN confab
As part of the University of Northern Philippines’ (UNP) 59th foundation anniversary, Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) students from Thailand shared their expertise during the ASEAN Conference on Business, Education, and Social Sciences for Sustainable Development. The event, held on October 10 at UNP’s Tadena Hall, revolved around the theme “Empowering Minds, Enriching Earth: Bridging Knowledge for Sustainable Futures.”
The afternoon session showcased insightful business discussions based on the experiences and expertise of the DBA students. Mr. Kridtapas, a manager at Universal Robina Corporation (URC) Thailand, delivered a compelling talk on “The Art of Negotiation: Strategies for Success in Deal Making.” His presentation was followed by Ms. Petcharat Chimakulpanrob from Thailand’s National Human Rights Commission, who provided an engaging perspective on “Artist Management to Artist Business.”
Ms. Sasrintr Thaentong, a Customer Service/Cabin Manager at Jetstar Australia, shared her insights into “Cross-Cultural Challenges in the Airline Business,” while Ms. Patsita Narasirikulpat, co-founder of Life Beauty Co. Ltd., discussed “Cultivating a Positive Mindset: Strategies for Overcoming Negativity and Embracing Optimism,” offering practical advice on personal and professional growth.
To conclude the event, Ms. Sirinya Pongprayoon, CEO and co-founder of Serise Manufacturing (Thailand) Co. Ltd., along with General Manager Aphiphu Wechokitikorn, presented innovative approaches to “Growth Hacking for Cosmetic Businesses.” In a gesture of goodwill, they also distributed free dental products to attendees, leaving a lasting impression as the session wrapped up.
This conference not only highlighted the diverse talents of Thai business leaders but also reinforced the importance of cross-border knowledge-sharing for sustainable development in the ASEAN region.
