Two Midwifery grads recognized as regional topnotchers
Two alumnae of the BS Midwifery program of the College of Health Sciences were recognized as regional topnotchers in the April 2023 Midwife Licensure Examination.
Ms. Maricar Andres, who obtained 10th place with a rating of 88.95%, and Ms. Alphine Dalgo, who got 16th place with a rating of 88.25%, were recognized in the oathtaking ceremony held in Baguio City on May 24. They were honored for their commendable performance in the licensure examination.
Present also in occasion were Dr. Joussie B. Bermio (dean of the College of Health Sciences), Dr. Alfredo V. Corpuz (assistant dean), and Prof. Lowie Lynette Basconcillo (BS Midwifery program head). Also in attendance were Dr. Fe Rodillas and Prof. Teodora Rita Soliven.
The oath-taking ceremony emphasized the dedication of these newly appointed midwives to delivering high-quality healthcare and assistance to mothers and infants. Additionally, it emphasized the comprehensive training and education offered by the College of Health Sciences, guaranteeing that graduates possess the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively fulfill the requirements of their career.
