To formalize partnership with Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGH MC), the University of Northern Philippines entered into a memorandum of agreement on June 7, 2024 for BGH MC to be an affiliation hospital for medical students’ clerkship.

Dr. Pablo Quedado, Dean of the College of Medicine, together with Dr. Dominetta Gonzalo, Assistant Dean, and Dr. Esperanza Lahoz and Dr. Ivy Bello, met with Dr. Larry Haya, OIC Medical Center Chief, and Dr. Concesa Padilla, Chief, Professional Education, Training, and Research Office to formalize the partnership through a MOA.

During the past years, BGH MC was an affiliation hospital for clerkship program along psychiatry. The new agreement includes obstetrics-gynecology and pediatrics.

The base hospital of the UNP College of Medicine is the Ilocos Training Regional Medical Center, City of San Fernando. Recently, Lorma Medical Center, also in the City of San Fernando, La Union, is another affiliation hospital of the UNP College of Medicine.
