On June 19,2025 the Medical Services Office, as a way of supporting University’s frontline workers, launched an activity titled: “School-based Deworming Program for Food Service Personnel of the University of Northern Philippines,” which specifically targeted non-teaching personnel from the university’s Food Service Unit. By recognizing their essential role in meeting the nutritional needs of individuals within the school campus and providing them with protection against parasitic infections, this initiative underscored the Health Unit’s continued commitment to promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for both students and staff.
