UNP firs-time takers post 56.76% passing rate in September 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Exam

Demonstrating academic excellence on the national stage, the University of Northern Philippines College of Engineering delivered a standout performance in the September 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE), powered by its first-time examinees who posted an impressive 56.76% passing rate—far outperforming the 37.16% national benchmark.

The examination, conducted on September 26–27, 2026, saw the University of Northern Philippines post an overall institutional passing rate of 31.69%. The performance of its first-time examinees reflected their rigorous preparation, perseverance, and determination to meet the professional standards required of future civil engineers.

University President Dr. Erwin Cadorna congratulated the successful examinees, commending their dedication, perseverance, and hard work in reaching this significant professional milestone. College of Engineering Dean Dr. Nelia Verzosa likewise expressed pride in the new civil engineers, recognizing their steadfast commitment to their chosen profession and their determination to achieve their goals.
