The University of Northern Philippines proudly marks a historic triumph in nursing excellence as two of its graduates earned places among the nation’s topnotchers in the August–September 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination.

Leading this proud achievement is Dianne Tacazon Tolentino, who placed Top 1 nationwide with a rating of 92.20%, bringing the UNP name to the highest spot in the national examination.

Joining her among the country’s topnotchers is Josian Vince Bajet Bermio, who placed Top 9 with an impressive 90.60% rating.

Their success brings a special kind of pride to UNP. It speaks of the hard work of its students, the guidance of their mentors, and the commitment to excellence strengthened under the leadership of University President Dr. Erwin Cadorna.

At the College of Nursing, under the leadership of Dean Dr. Francis Don Nero, together with the faculty and staff, this achievement stands as a meaningful reward after years of teaching, mentoring, and preparing students to become competent and compassionate nurses.

Congratulations, Dianne and Josian. Your achievement brings honor to the College of Nursing and immense pride to the entire UNP community.
