The University of Northern Philippines, led by President Dr. Erwin Cadorna, participated in the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Fun Run on September 13, 2026 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.
Held in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the activity gathered civil servants from various government agencies in the province. Participants joined either the 3-kilometer Wellness Run or the 5-kilometer Unity Run.
UNP was recognized as the second-place awardee for the largest number of registered participants in the 2nd Category for NGAs, SUCs, and GOCCs, receiving a cash prize of ₱7,000.00.
The university gathered a total of 47 registered runners, reflecting the active participation and solidarity of its personnel to the values of Lingkod Bayani—honoring public servants who dedicate themselves to service, integrity, and excellence for the Filipino people.
