UNP faculty render consultancy service to ADTEMPCO

The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) of the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) played a pivotal role in enhancing the operations of the Abra Diocesan Teachers and Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (ADTEMPCO) through a two-day consultancy service on August 30-31. The consultation was held at Casarap Café, Restaurant, and Events Center.

Dr. Princess Neptalia R. Quebral, head of the Human Resource Development Management program, and Mr. Emman Trevor A. Quilala, faculty member of the same program, led the consultancy effort. They were joined by Dr. Mitessa Reynante from the College of Hospitality Management and Tourism (CHTM) to provide a comprehensive evaluation of ADTEMPCO’s business operations.

On the first day, the consultants engaged in in-depth discussions with Mr. Ernesto Lucky Blanco, the marketing department head, and Ms. Ria C. Lumiwes, the area manager. These interactions focused on critical aspects of the business, leading to productive exchanges and a thorough understanding of ADTEMPCO’s current operations.

The second day culminated in a detailed presentation of the consultants’ findings to ADTEMPCO’s chief executive officer, Engr. Irene B. Bringas. The presentation, attended by the CEO along with the area manager and marketing department head, highlighted key areas of improvement and strategic recommendations.

Engr. Bringas expressed her gratitude for the objective and insightful evaluation, recognizing the value of the consultants’ contributions.

The consultancy activity concluded with a formal recognition ceremony, where certificates of appreciation were awarded to the instructor-consultants, underscoring the successful collaboration between UNP and ADTEMPCO.
