Abstract:Healthy nutrition is the cornerstone of child survival. Well-nourished children can grow up and learn more, engage and contribute to their communities, and be resilient in the face of disease and other global crises. This study determines the level of awareness and accessibility of parents in the health care programs offered by the local government unit, and the Spiral Model was utilized in the development of the application. Hence, Baby Maid was developed as a cross-platform application that documents the growth and conditions of babies. Specifically, the application was designed to document the baby's milestone and address some of the challenges parents face in taking good care of their babies and improving neonatal survival. Moreover, with this innovation, effective ways of organizing continuity of care, recognizing dangers to babies, and accessing professional help when difficulties arise would be accommodated.

Abstract:Innovations have changed the way people live. Information technology touches almost every aspect of life; the things that were a mere vision before is now slowly turning into reality. The incorporation of information technology will increase productivity in agriculture. Providing farmers with the latest information and inputs necessary for decision making can make them productive in farming. The developed application aims to guide the rice growers in their farming activities, particularly pest management and decision making concerning rice farming. In the development of the study, the Rapid Application Development software process was adapted as a methodology. The research had undergone four phases: Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction Phase, and Cutover Phase. A series of interviews were conducted with the agriculturist and with the 120 rice growers to gather data necessary to develop the system. The data collected from the participants were tabulated, analyzed, interpreted, and summarized using descriptive statistics. Frequency counts and mean were utilized to evaluate the efficiency level and assess the system developed. Based on the evaluation results, the developed system was found to be of a very great extent in terms of functionality, efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability
Abstract:Agriculture assumes a significant function in improving one’s economy. It is an essential spring of living for some individuals around the globe. In the Philippines, corn next to rice is the staple agricultural product. Using different strategies and methods of planting corn, farmers in the corn industry will generally expand their profitability and cause corn growers to produce a high range and quality of corn products. With the introduction of new agriculture advancements, corn growers are coping-up with these developments from manual to automated systems and equipment farming. This study intended to design, develop, and evaluate a knowledge based mobile system for upgrading corn yiel productivity for the corn growers of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. The developed knowledge-based system is a mobile application name “con-IT,” which helps corn growers in their farming activities, explicitly selecting corn variety, identifying and managing pests, weeds, and diseases, and journal during corn planting season. The developed system’s assessment on the extent of compliance to ISO 25010: Software Quality Standards was assessed with “Very Great Extent” with the mean rating of 4.41. Rapid Application Development (RAD) was the methodology adopted by the researchers. Data collection also included interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD).
