UNP-OBAS, CAPSU collaborate on global markets webinar
The Organization of Business Administration Students (OBAS) of the University of Northern Philippines and the College of Management of Capiz State University–Burias Campus (CAPSU) collaborated in hosting a webinar titled “Navigating Global Markets: Leadership Insights for International Business and Public Administration” on December 9.
The event brought together leading experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of operating in an increasingly interconnected world.
The webinar featured four insightful presentations, beginning with Mr. Marvin Keith R. Sosa, head of Economic Enterprise Development Services, who provided a comprehensive overview of current global trade dynamics and identified emerging market opportunities for businesses.
Dr. Richel Royce T. Chan, BS Entrepreneurship program head, followed with a presentation on the importance of cultural sensitivity and understanding in navigating international business relationships.
Dr. Joel B. Garcera, director of the Center of Information and Communication Technology, explored the critical role of ethical practices, sustainable development, and digital transformation in ensuring responsible and secure international trade.
Mr. Mark Anthony M. Chua, area sales manager of the Republic Biscuit Corporation, concluded the presentations with practical insights on developing successful operational strategies and policies for businesses operating in global markets.
The webinar attracted a large audience of students, faculty, and professionals interested in international business and public administration. Participants engaged in lively discussions and gained valuable knowledge from the esteemed speakers.
