Six programs of the University of Northern Philippines underwent the scrutiny of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines in an online survey visit on 23-25 November 2022.

The said programs are the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, and Bachelor of Science in Cooperative Management of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy; Bachelor of Arts in Communication of the College of Arts and Sciences; Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering of the College of Engineering; and Master of Public Administration of the College of Public Administration.
The five undergraduate programs were examined for Level IV, Phase II, and the master’s program was scrutinized for Level II.

The accreditors are the following: Dr. Gualberto A. Magdaraog Jr. (Bulacan SU) and Dr. Lea V. Lustre (Partido SU) for BS Accountancy; Dr. Raquel G. Ramos (PUP) and Prof. Ivy Mar J. Ramos (Bulacan SU) for BS Cooperative Management; Dr. Marilou P. Pascual and Dr. Joannie A. Galano (Nueva Ecija U of Science and Technology) for BS Entrepreneurship; Dr. Adrian B. Aguilar (Bicol U) and Dr. Crisanta T. de Leon (Bulacan SU) for BA Communication; Dr. Darwin U. Ong (Nueva Ecija U of Science and Technology) and Engr. Merricris U. Pangilinan for BS Civil Engineering; and Dr. Ronnie R. Parica (U of Rizal System) and Dr. Florenda S. Frivaldo (PUP) for MPA.
The said survey visit is part of the University’s aim for quality assurance.
Dr. Arnel, the coordinator, stated that he is “hopeful that the University will maintain its quest for continual improvement” and is confident that his team “are compassionate and speak the correct language of accreditation.”
