Universitas Potensi Utama and University of Northern Philippines forge new partnership with MOA for ICC 2024

A significant Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between Universitas Potensi Utama (UPU) Indonesia, and the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) on August 27, 2024, at Tadena Hall, marking a pivotal moment for academic collaboration between the two institutions.

The MoA was executed by Mr. Ashari P. Swondo, M.Hum., Dean of the Faculty of Political Science & Education at UPU, and Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, President of UNP. The MOA sealed UNPs partnership with four more universities from different countries, namely, Thailand, Malaysia, Timor Leste, and Indonesia. The University of Northern Philippines shall represent the country in the upcoming International Collaborative Competition (ICC) 2024.

This MoA represents a commitment to promoting international collaboration in education, enhancing the opportunities for students and faculty from both universities. Dr. Cadorna highlighted the importance of such partnerships in promoting a collaborative and innovative educational environment.

The signing of this agreement is expected to pave the way for further collaborative initiatives between UPU and UNP, enhancing the academic experience and providing valuable opportunities for cultural exchange and professional development. This partnership reflects a growing trend among educational institutions to engage in cross-border collaborations that enrich the educational landscape and prepare students for a globalized world.
