UNP-FU, NEU, and HRMO team up for PROJECT PRESS
The UNP Faculty Union in partnership with the Non-Academic Employees Union and the Human Resource and Management Office initiated PROJECT PRESS, a Pre-Retirement Seminar for Senior Faculty Members and Non-Teaching Personnel of the University of Northern Philippines on November 28, 2024, at the Romualdo Tadena Hall.
The event was designed to provide essential guidance and resources for staff approaching retirement. PROJECT PRESS focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for a smooth transition into retirement. Topics covered included personal financial management, retirement benefits, and strategies for maintaining a fulfilling lifestyle post-retirement.
The seminar emphasized the importance of planning ahead to ensure financial security and emotional well-being during this significant life change. It also featured experienced speakers who shared insights on navigating retirement challenges, from understanding pension plans to managing health care options.
PROJECT PRESS aimed to empower attendees to embrace retirement as a new chapter filled with opportunities rather than an end to their professional journeys. This initiative reflects UNP’s commitment to the welfare of its employees and their successful transition into retirement.
