The University of Northern Philippines notches fifth place in the 2022 CHED-Philippine Anti-Illegal Drug Strategy (PADS) Innovative Awards on 09 June 2022.  The award was received by the UNP President, Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, the Director for Students Affairs Services, Director Mariano F. Aviala, and the Mr. Arnold Pio The award is given to institutions with significant strategies, projects, and innovations on Drug Education and Prevention in compliance with Executive Order No. 66, s. 2018 on institutionalizing PADS.
