The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) Programs of the University of Northern Philippines- College of Teacher Education conducted a needs assessment at Camangaan Elementary School on September 21, 2026, as an initial step toward developing extension services responsive to the school community.
Led by Program Heads Dr. Eleuteria Pacpaco and Dr. Fely de Guzman, the activity focused on identifying and assessing the priority needs of teachers, parents, and pupils. The findings will serve as a basis for planning extension initiatives aligned with the school’s identified needs and priorities.
Dr. Roystone Quidolit, together with the faculty and staff of Camangaan Elementary School, welcomed the UNP team and expressed appreciation for the initiative and interest in working with the university.
The needs assessment allows the BEED and BECED Programs to identify areas where UNP’s expertise and resources may be directed toward teacher development, parent support, and improved learning experiences for pupils.
The activity provides the initial basis for the two institutions to plan appropriate extension programs through continued coordination and consultation with the school community.
