UNP embraces quality education through online accreditation
Three academic programs from the university, specifically from the College of Business Administration Accountancy (CBAA) and the College of Engineering (CoE) are currently having the AACUP Online Accreditation Survey Visit (Level IV) from December 4 up to December 6, 2024.
The programs under evaluation include the Master in Business Administration (MBA), the Doctor in Business Administration (DBA), and the Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering (BSGE). This accreditation process is crucial as it assesses the quality and effectiveness of educational programs, ensuring they meet national and international standards.
The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) conducts these evaluations to recognize programs that demonstrate excellence in education. Achieving Level IV accreditation signifies that these programs are highly respected and comparable to similar offerings at prestigious institutions globally.
During this three-day survey visit, accreditors will review documentation, assess compliance with previous recommendations, and evaluate the overall quality of education provided by these programs.
University officials have expressed their commitment to maintaining high educational standards, emphasizing that this accreditation will enhance the students’ learning experience and better prepare them for future careers. The outcomes of this survey visit will provide valuable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in these academic disciplines.
