The faculty of the Automotive Technology program at the College of Technology successfully completed an upskilling program in automotive servicing and engine repair and earned their National Certification II (NC II) in the field.

The training was conducted on November 29-30 and December 6, 7, and 13, 2024 at the Narvacan Academy Training Center Inc. in Barangay Quinarayan, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

It aimed to enhance their core competencies in the discipline, ensure that their competence is consistent with industry best practices, and equip them to adequately teach these competencies to students. Participants were taken through a broad training, which covered technical and practical aspects of engine repair.

Following the training sessions, the participants took the NC II assessment in Automotive Servicing – Engine Repair on December 14, 2024. All faculty members passed the assessment, earning their certifications.
