In celebration of inclusivity and community spirit, the University of Northern Philippines BS Psychology program conducted an outreach program titled “Operasyong Makibata” for Special Education (SPED) Learners at Bantay West Integrated School on January 31.

The program was part of the 59th founding anniversary of the College of Arts and Sciences, featuring a range of engaging activities designed to promote relaxation, creativity, and enjoyment among the learners, including art therapy sessions, interactive games, and mindfulness exercises.

Further, the program was led by the BS-Psych Program Head, Mr. Mico Molina, along with faculty members Ms. Precious Lyn Babida, Ms. Alexandria Blake Real-Pisalbo, Dr. Marifel Acena, and the officers and members of the Psychology Students Organization.

The success of “Operasyong Makibata” reflects the collective efforts of the university community in making a positive impact on the lives of SPED learners. It serves as a testament to the power of compassion and the enduring commitment to fostering an inclusive society where everyone could thrive.
