JCI, UNP, and PRC team up for CoLOVE Year 2
Students from different colleges of the University of Northern Philippines attended the CoLOVE Festival 2025 on February 18, at UNP Tadena and CTech Function Hall. The event aimed to educate the students about different issues related to the event theme, “CoLOVE Festival Year 2: Uniting Hearts for Family, Nation, and Health.”
The said program became successful through the collaborative efforts of JCI Vigan, UNP Student Council, Philippine Red Cross, and various local student councils of the university.
Through the help of various agencies, different lecture series and activities were presented to the students including: “Take Care Because I Care Lecture Series”, “Diabetes Awareness”, “Health and Emergency Response”, “Hands-only CPR Health Talks and Training”, “Trauma-informed Care Talks”, “Yoga and Mindfulness”, and “Civic Awareness and Voters Education.”
All these initiatives aimed to train and educate the students on how they can be an instrument to the progress of the community.
