The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Program celebrated its annual POLIS Festival 2025 with the theme, “Kalipunan: Paghahabi ng Iba’t Ibang Sektor sa Pampulitikang Kilusan” (Unity: Weaving Together Different Sectors in Political Movements), highlighted by a vibrant ASEAN Expo on March 25,2025.
The event, organized by the teachers and students of the program, displayed ASEAN’s cultural diversity and political awareness through a parade, cultural performances, culinary delights, and a political parody. Third-year Political Science students walked around campus, displaying the nine ASEAN nations and performing traditional dances at the Student Council Building before a final showdown at the Grandstand. The ASEAN Expo followed, featuring cuisines from each ASEAN country, alongside games and a political parody judged by Atty. BM Tabuso, Mr. Junior Amodo, Mr. Florentino Garcia, and Ms. Mae Angeli Garcia.
The POLIS Festival’s ASEAN Expo aimed to weave together cultural understanding with political discourse, promoting regional awareness and student engagement. The day concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions to the various contests.
