The UNP Sharks athletics team secured four gold medals in the SCUAA-1 2025 competition, highlighting their dominance in individual events.
Reigh Ann Tapia claimed gold in the women’s high jump, coached by Mr. Ferino Gem Madriaga, who led the team’s jumpers. Alexa Aleta won the women’s 400m low hurdles under the guidance of sprinters’ coach Gian Paolo Martin Cabanas. In long-distance events, Ericka Raciles secured gold in the women’s 10km race, coached by Mr. Caesar Ziggy Perlas. Jazreel Angelo Bernales set a new SCUAA 1 high jump record at 1.88m, earning another gold for UNP under Coach Gem Ferino Madriaga. Mr. Wilson Tolio served as the head coach of the UNP Sharks athletics team.
