The University of Northern Philippines student leaders have just arrived in Thailand to participate in the RMUTR International Youth Camp 2025, that will be held today, April 22 up to 30 at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin (RMUTR). This camp gathers young leaders from various countries to develop essential skills such as communication, strategic thinking, and team building through interactive and collaborative activities.
The program also aims to cultivate a positive attitude toward cultural diversity, racial differences, language use, and respectful manners, fostering intercultural understanding and global citizenship among participants.
The camp’s activities encourage teamwork and problem-solving while providing opportunities for cultural exchange and personal growth. RMUTR has been organizing this international youth camp since 2011, offering participants a unique chance to enhance their leadership capabilities and broaden their global perspectives.
Among the participants representing the UNP are student leaders Noriel Jay Paino, John Amiel Catura, Russel Jay Fuentesfina, and faculty member, Dr. Gilbert Valdez Jr. The camp’s activities encourage participants to work in teams, solve problems strategically, and communicate effectively, which are essential skills for leadership development. Beyond skill-building, the camp offers cultural exchange opportunities, helping youth appreciate and respect different traditions and perspectives.
