BS Bio faculty bags multiple awards in International Research Conference

Successfully displaying his knowledge on research,  Mr. Chris Paul Pagaoa, a faculty of the University of Northern Philippines Bachelor of Science in Biology Program garnered awards during the 3rd International Conference on Higher Education Research by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc. (PAIR) and Association of Scholarly Editors (ASE) with the theme, “Bridging Global Research for Education Excellence” on April 7 to 9, via Zoom teleconferencing.

With his research titled “Physicochemical and Microbial Analysis of Selected Oyster Farms in Ilocos Sur: Road to Food Safety, Security and Public Health,” Mr. Pagaoa was awarded as the Best Oral Research Presenter and secured the Best Abstract Award in the category of Science and Technology.

This success further solidifies the university’s commitment on strengthening research and internationalization.
