The University of Northern Philippines, led by President Dr. Erwin Cadorna, honored its colleges for the outstanding achievements during accreditation. This morning of May 26, 2025, after the flag raising ceremony, certificates of recognition were awarded to the College of Teacher Education, College of Business Administration & Accountancy, College of Engineering, and College of Health Sciences, marking a significant milestone for the institution.
The College of Teacher Education received Level IV Retained Status for its Master of Arts in Technology and Livelihood Education, Major in Industrial Arts program. This prestigious recognition, conferred by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP), highlights the college’s sustained leadership and commitment to high standards in teacher education.
Meanwhile, the College of Business Administration & Accountancy was recognized for securing Level IV Re-accredited Status for its Master in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship programs. These awards affirm the college’s dedication to advancing business education in Northern Luzon.
In addition, the Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering of the College of Engineering also achieved Level IV Re-accredited Status, while the Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services of the College of Health Sciences was awarded Level III Re-accredited Status, further demonstrating UNP’s commitment to academic quality across disciplines.
These achievements highlight the collective efforts of faculty, staff, and students, reinforcing UNP’s mission to deliver top-tier education and foster future leaders in the region.
