The College of Social Work, under Dean Melody Gacita, spearheaded a two-day activity titled “1st Orientation and Re-orientation of Graduates on the TOS for the Licensure Examination for Social Workers” on June 26-27, 2025, at UNP Tadena Hall.
The activity aimed to update the students and retakers on the content of the new table of specifications of the LESW and help examinees understand the scope and nature of the examination to enable them to prepare more effectively and assist them hurdle the licensure examination that will be held on September 16-17, 2025.
On the first day of the orientation, Mr. Mark Joshua Cabildo, faculty, gave an orientation on the topics under Human Behavior and Social Environment, while Mr. Jay Ar Joshua A. Tolentino, faculty, focused on the Social Welfare Programs, Policies and Services. Day two of the orientation were the presentation of topics under Social Work methods by Mr. Lyndon Dave, and an orientation on field instruction by Mr. Jefferson Alcantara
Fresh graduates, retakers, and past graduates who will be taking the board examination as first-timers were present in the said activity.
