In its efforts to reach new heights of excellence and innovation in learning, the Open University of the University of Northern Philippines engaged in the 17th CE-Logic National Conference and 1st EdTech Summit, held on June 26–27, 2025 at Seda Vertis North Hotel, Quezon City.
This event, hosted by C & E Adaptive Learning Solutions, brought together local and global leaders, innovators and champions in educational technology (EdTech) to create a valuable alignment of vision, innovation and state-of-the-art learning solutions. With the focus on disruptive ways towards education during the digital age, the summit was a venue for discussion, collaboration and sharing of best practices on EdTech adoption.
Participants from the Open University were Dr. Dolores Bersamina, Dean; Dr. Wilson R. Tolio, Assistant Dean; and Dr. Shareen A. Navarro, Information and Communications Technology Office Director and OU faculty member. Their presence attested to the University’s dedication to staying at the edge of education innovation and digital revolution.
Over the course of the two-day conference, the delegates participated in thought-provoking sessions, tech exhibitions and networking sessions that underlined the emerging trends of digital learning, AI in learning, adaptive learning systems and virtual classrooms of the future. Keynote sessions and breakout sessions included EdTech thought leaders from the local and global arena, providing profound discussions and actionable takeaways for schools and institutions of learning.
The Open University’s presence in such a milestone event reiterates its commitment to embrace future-focused strategies that maximize the teaching and learning processes. The learning experience and insights gained from the summit will continue to enrich the University’s efforts to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies in its distance and flexible learning programs.
