The University of Northern Philippines (UNP), through its Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), spearheaded the learning sessions and facilitation in the two-leg Team Building Activity of the Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC), held on September 10 and 13, 2025, at the NSCC Stella Maris Hotel and Convention Center in Pug-os, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.
The collaboration aimed to strengthen camaraderie and teamwork while fostering a culture of unity among cooperative staff. Central to the activity was the celebration of individual uniqueness, the appreciation of diversity, and the promotion of meaningful collaboration.
NSCC employees from the Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Pangasinan, and Manila branches participated in the team-building activity. Participants were divided into two groups, each engaging in sessions focused on the shared theme of Uniqueness, Diversity, and Collaboration.
On September 10, the initial leg of the activity, Ms. Glenny Angellica Barrientos, guidance counselor of UNP, facilitated the processing and the abstraction session, guiding participants through meaningful reflections centered on interpersonal dynamics and effective communication. During the processing, participants were encouraged to deepen their understanding of individual strengths and team synergy.
On September 13, Mr. Randolfo Lopez, Head of Student Development Services under OSAS, led the processing and abstraction session for the second batch of NSCC employees, ensuring that the momentum of the previous session was sustained and each participant had opportunities to practice newly acquired strategies for collaboration and resilience.
By serving as resource persons and facilitators, UNP-OSAS personnel enriched the Team Building Activity with practical insights and interactive learning experiences, ultimately empowering NSCC employees to embrace organizational goals with renewed motivation and shared commitment.
