The University of Northern Philippines–College of Teacher Education (UNP-CTE) held a send-off mass for its graduates on Wednesday at the University Ecumenical Chapel, offering prayers and blessings as they prepare for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on September 21.
The send-off mass, held on September 17, 2025, was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jaymark Davalos and joined by faculty, staff, and undergraduate students of the College of Teacher Education, who gathered in solidarity with the graduates as they prepare for the upcoming examination.
CTE Dean, Dr. Ma. Teresa Susan Manzano, in her brief message, conveyed confidence in the graduates’ abilities and encouraged them to persevere. She expressed her hope to celebrate their success together, saying she looks forward to seeing them at the recognition program in December 2025.
The celebration concluded with a special blessing for the examinees, symbolizing the community’s prayers for their success. In keeping with tradition, the faculty also handed out pencils sharpened by faculty members —an enduring gesture of support and encouragement for the upcoming board exam.
