The University of Northern Philippines proudly joins the nationwide observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, rallying with the country’s call to build a VAW-free Philippines.
Starting today, November 25 up to December 12, the University’s GAD Focal Point System and Center for Gender and Development will lead a series of empowering activities—vibrant banners, advocacy-driven Orange Tuesdays, and campus-wide participation mark our solidarity against gender-based violence.
This year’s theme, “UNITEd for a VAW-Free Philippines,” urges all members of the university to unite and foster a community free from violence, compassionately supporting survivors and raising awareness on the severity of the issue.
Wear orange, share your voice, and take a stand—each action makes a difference. Sama-samang Itaguyod Ang Laban Anti VAW! Together, let’s stop, look, and listen, paving the way for lasting, meaningful change. #VAWFreePH #UNP #OrangeTuesday
