BSEHS Students ace three-day Competency Assessment at UNP

Vigan City, Ilocos Sur – Students from the University of Northern Philippines – Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services (UNP-BSEHS) program completed a rigorous three-day competency assessment on April 6–8, 2026, at the College of Health Sciences. The evaluation tested their knowledge, skills, and readiness for real-world emergency health situations through oral, written, and practical exams.

The assessments gauged theoretical mastery via written tests on key emergency care concepts, principles, and procedures. Oral exams challenged students to demonstrate clinical reasoning, protocol knowledge, and scenario-based responses. Practical sessions required hands-on execution of emergency procedures in simulated high-stakes environments, emphasizing accuracy, speed, and decision-making.

Clinical instructors facilitated the activity enforcing objective standards and delivering immediate feedback to boost student performance.

This initiative displays BSEHS’s commitment in producing competent professionals ready for emergency health services demands.
