The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) inaugurated its 59th Annual Festival of Arts and Sciences (FAS) on January 28, 2025, the with the theme, “Empowering Minds, Advancing a Sustainable Future: Bridging Disciplines for Global Impact.”

The event began with a Holy Eucharist at the UNP Ecumenical Chapel, administered by Rev. Fr. Manuel Ragil.

Following the mass, the faculty, staff, and students joined the Foot Parade, where year levels represented different team colors: yellow (first years), blue (second years), white (third years), and red (fourth years). The parade culminated at the New CAS Building, featuring a group yell competition showcasing unity and school spirit.

Dr. Remedios Navarro, CAS Dean, and UNP President, Dr. Erwin Cadorna delivered motivational messages, followed by a dance performance by the CASisiglatan Dancers.

The event also highlighted each team’s Muses and Escorts, the recognition of CAS alumni who passed the BLEPP, GCLE, and Bar Exams, and a performance by the Danggay-Saririrt Cultural Dance Troupe.

SASO Vice Governor, Julius Ceazar Quericol closed the ceremony with a message of gratitude stating, “The Festival of Arts and Sciences annually commemorates CAS’s status as a premier UNP college, celebrating students’ individuality and the college’s achievements over the years.”
