UNP excels in CPA licensure exam, exceeds nat’l passing rate

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its graduates in the recent Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (LECPA). The results, released on May 31, revealed that 31 new Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) were produced by the University, marking a significant achievement for the institution.

The LECPA, which took place from May 26 to May 28, saw UNP achieving a passing rate of 50.82%, surpassing the national passing rate of 30.28%. This notable accomplishment reflects the university’s commitment to providing quality education and producing top-tier professionals.

Among the 31 successful candidates, 26 out of 52 first-time takers (50%) and five out of nine repeaters (55.56%) passed the examination.
