CSW holds online seminar on social work research and statistics

Emphasizing the importance of research and statistics on the field of social work, the University of Northern Philippines College of Social Work (CSW) conducted an online seminar titled, “Upskilling via Zoom of BSSW Graduating Students on Social Work Research and Stastistics,” at the University Auditorium on March 20 and 21.

Spearheaded by Prof. Melody Gacita, CSW Dean, the seminar aimed to develop the students’ critical thinking skills in the context of social work practice and the application of research and statistics for evidence-based interventions in social work settings.

Prof. Jeffrey Razonabe, and Prof. Jopfler Ruedas, faculties from Mindanao State University served as the key speakers of the event, who discussed topics about Social Work Research and Statistics.

Further, from the said college, Prof. Lilibeth Castaneda, Ms. Jeanne-lyn Anicoche, Ms. Jezinelle Punio, Ms. Kristel Joy Ablog, and Mr. Jay Ar Joshua Tolentino facilitated and ensured the success of the program.

This activity solidifies the commitment of the university on producing globally skilled and morally-upright individuals.
