In preparation for the deployment of Field Practicum students, the College of Social Work gathers Municipal Links in Provincial Operations Office and representatives from Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte respectively for an Inter- agency Consultation and Conference.

The said activity is to provide valuable information on the details of monitoring, supervision, and evaluation of students performance in their field practicum to agency supervisors. It also aimed to present the contents of the Memorandum of Agreement to serve as a guide in the efficient delivery of services to student practicum by both the school and agency supervisors. Lastly, it aimed to strengthen the working relationship between school and agency supervisors which would possibly lead to more efficient case management among students.

In addition, the students were given an orientation on Republic Act 7877 or Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1998 by Atty. Katrynn Louise R. Eder, faculty member of the College of Law, as a groundwork for their upcoming field deployment.

The event was headed by Prof. Melody T. Gacita, Dean of the College of Social Work, organized by the Field Instruction Coordinator, Ms. Jeanne-lyn H. Anicoche, and supported by Ms. Lilibeth C. Castañeda, Ms. Jezinelle Y. Punio, and Mr. Jay Ar Joshua A. Tolentino, faculty members of the College of Social Work.
