CTECH benchmarks BIndTech Program Implementation at BulSU
The College of Technology (CTECH) conducted a benchmarking visit to the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) at Bulacan State University (BulSU) on March 18, 2025. The visit aimed to gather insights into the implementation of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIndTech) curriculum, which CTECH plans to offer in the upcoming academic year 2025-2026, in compliance with CHED regulations.
The visit began with welcoming remarks from CIT Dean Dr. Marlon Leyesa and Associate Dean Ms. Jacqueline Villanueva. CIT’s program head and cluster heads then shared insights into the courses offered at their college and the development of their BIndTech curriculum, which is also set to launch next school year.
CTECH Dean Dr. Julius Moises Albalos introduced the delegation and expressed appreciation for BulSU’s hospitality and the academic advancements of CIT. CTECH faculty engaged in discussions on syllabus construction, admission requirements, faculty workload, and best practices. They also toured CIT’s laboratories, some of which, including specialized machinery and instructional tools, were donated by BulSU’s international partners.
The visit concluded with a meeting with BulSU President Dr. Teody San Andres, who warmly welcomed the delegation. The knowledge gained from this benchmarking activity will serve as a foundation for enhancing CTECH’s BIndTech program.
