The University of Northern Philippines signs a Memorandum of Agreement with GMA Network Inc., as one of its regional media partners in the coverage of Eleksyon 2022. The virtual MOA signing was held on 26 November 2021 via Zoom.

UNP, specifically the BA Communication program, will participate in GMA’s election-related educational activities including posting or uploading articles written by faculty or students, assisting voters in GMA’s virtual or physical set-up of call and action center and social media hub, among other activities as may be required by the network.

UNP, together with other institutions and organizations in the country such as the University of the Philippines, Ateneo School of Government, De La Salle University, University of Sto. Tomas, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines, will work hand in hand with GMA in the delivery of a comprehensive all-media coverage of the 2022 national and local elections.
