MOA signing, awarding of winners close NEPra Guild conference

The University of Northern Philippines through a signed Memorandum of Agreement, officially partners with the Nurse Educators and Practitioners Guild (NEPRA). The MOA solidifies collaboration with various local and international CO-CONVENORS, including prominent institutions such as the University of the Cordilleras, Ifugao State University, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (Thailand), University of Hail (Saudi Arabia), Phetchabun Rajabhat University (Thailand), Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Indonesia), Cavite State University, Benguet State University, Northern Christian College, STAR Colleges, and the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing – Region 1.

UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna and NEPRA Guild President Dr. Jude L. Tayaben led the signing of the agreement, which outlines shared responsibilities in organizing, promoting, and delivering the conference. The collaboration underscores a commitment to academic excellence, international partnerships, and the advancement of nursing leadership and practice.

The conference also celebrated excellence in scholarly work in nursing by recognizing outstanding contributions in both student and professional categories. Awards were given for Best Presenter, Best Research Paper, Best Poster, and Best Poster Presenter. These honors highlighted the relevance, rigor, and innovation demonstrated by researchers whose studies focused on health systems improvement, nursing education, and patient care.
