Peer Facilitators Club choose new officers

 

The Peer Facilitators Club successfully held its reorganization meeting with the assistance of the Guidance Counselors at the ground floor of the Student Center on August 27, 2024.

The meeting was attended by members of Peer Facilitators Club from different colleges who came together to elect new officers for the academic year.

During the meeting, John Nicole Lorenzo was elected as the president of the club. The members also chose Krizza Mae Oreal as the Vice President, Gian Quindipan as the Secretary, and Ace Oliveros as the Assistant Secretary.

Rose Angelique Foronda was appointed as the Treasurer, with Kurt Taruna serving as the Assistant Treasurer. Jenie Rose Campila was named the Auditor and Rhenz Lee Macabeo and Josh Reiven Tipon were elected as the Business Managers and Raymart Bayona was selected as the Public Relations Officer (PRO).

In addition to the core officers, the club also selected representatives from various colleges to guarantee broader representation and participation, namely: Erma Rose Tiero for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Joselle Navarro for the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), Jojimar Mengullo for the College of Technology (CTech), John Paul Serdenia for the College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT), and James Guillermo III for the College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD).

Following the election, the newly appointed officers took their oath of office, led by Dr. Mariano Paterno F. Avila, the Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Services. He commended the new officers and encouraged them to lead with integrity and dedication.

The reorganization marks a new chapter for the Peer Facilitators Club to provide platforms for the students at the University to learn, assist, grow, and provide for one another.
