The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) and Caoayan National High School formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on March 27, 2025. The event, held at the Oandasan Room of UNP, marks a significant milestone in fostering academic cooperation and regional development.
Dr. Erwin Cadorna, UNP President, conveyed the University’s unwavering support for Caoayan National High School and other schools seeking assistance in their programs. He emphasized UNP’s commitment to collaborative initiatives that uplift educational standards across the region.
Dr. Chase Mark Suyat, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy, highlighted the importance of building bridges between institutions to foster camaraderie, friendship, and excellence.
The partnership aims to establish a framework for mutual growth by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, resources, and expertise between the two institutions.
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the agreement also addresses gender equality mandates by ensuring equal access and opportunities for men and women beneficiaries. This collaboration is expected to contribute to UNP’s performance indicators by increasing the number of new or renewed MOAs forged within the year.
