As Maundy Thursday arrives, we find ourselves reflecting deeply on the meaning of this day. We commemorate the Last Supper; it’s a powerful reminder of humility, service, and love. Our Lord Jesus, knowing what was to come, chose to spend His final evening with His friends, breaking bread and washing their feet. He showed us that true leadership is rooted in serving others, no matter our position or status.
Today, let us be reminded to look beyond ourselves and consider how we can be of service to those around us—whether through kind words, a helping hand, or simply being present for someone in need. Maundy Thursday challenges us to love without conditions and to forgive even when it’s hard.
As we enter the most solemn days of Holy Week, we pray for the grace to follow Christ’s example of selfless love and to carry that spirit into our daily lives. May we all find ways to serve and love one another, just as He has loved us.
