UNP holds Performance Review, highlights Infrastructure and Revenue Progress

The University of Northern Philippines conducted a Performance Review on August 5, 2025, at the Tadena Hall, bringing together university officials to assess the institution’s progress in key operational areas.

UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna led the activity, joined by Vice Presidents Mr. Albert Tejero (Finance and Administration), Dr. Rolando Navarro (Academic Affairs), and Dr. Fatima Rocamora (Research and Extension). Also in attendance were Academic Deans, Function Directors, and heads of administrative offices.

The review featured four major presentations. Engr. Johnny Belizar, Director of the Infrastructure Project and Management Office, presented the Status of Infrastructure Projects, detailing the ongoing and completed development projects aimed at improving campus facilities. He reported on the progress of key construction efforts, upgrades to existing structures, and future plans aligned with the university’s long-term development goals.

Ms. Rizza Cajindos, Officer-in-Charge of University Planning and Development, shared the Physical Performance Report, focusing on the accomplishments of the University in relation to its set physical targets and development plans. Her report underscored the alignment of institutional outputs with UNP’s vision and mission.

Dr. Larraine Aguimatang, Head of the Budgeting Office, discussed the Financial Performance of the University. She provided insights into budget utilization, fund allocation efficiency, and spending trends, highlighting the institution’s commitment to sound fiscal management and alignment with its strategic priorities.

Ms. Melissa Pascua, Head of the Accounting Office, provided the Revenue Performance Report, showcasing income generation from various university operations and the effective collection strategies implemented to sustain financial stability.

Dr. Cadorna commended the presenters for their comprehensive reports and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in achieving the university’s goals. He had shown that the performance review is a vital mechanism in ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in all facets of the University operations.

The event served as a platform for collaborative reflection and strategic alignment, strengthening UNP’s commitment to excellence in public service, education, and institutional governance.
