The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) emerged as the top-performing school in Region 1 with over 200 first-time examinees surpassing the national passing percentage for first takers, posting an remarkable 76.54% passing rate in the February 2025 Criminologists Licensure Examination.
The Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region 1 acknowledged forty-five (45) regional achievers, including two Regional Top Notchers from the UNP College of Criminal Justice Education. Mr. Leo France Obebe, Top 6, with an impressive 90.35% rating, and Mr. Mark Gian Paolo Battad, Top 19, with an 88.70% rating were awarded certificates of recognition on April 25, 2025.
The results underscore the region’s commitment to excellence in criminology education and professional standards, and in meeting the University’s goal in enhancing the implementation of quality assurance and outcomes-based education.
