The UNP Sharks Taekwondo Team dominated SCUAA1 2025, clinching 12 gold medals and securing the overall championship in both Men’s and Women’s Divisions.
In Poomsae, Rian Billy Keyster Cabaong, Marc Dexter Giron, and Dee James Ilaban won gold in Men’s Team Poomsae, while Erica Angelene Del Castillo took gold in Women’s Individual Poomsae.
In Kyorugi, John Jaylord Riodil (Fin), Zedric Siababa (Bantam), Gerald Villegas (Welter), Cesar Ian Santos (Middle), and Marc Kenzie Yadao (Heavy) won gold in the men’s categories. Iramela Millionette Rigos (Bantam), Angeline Tabutol (Welter), and Vanessa Mae Antonio (Middle) topped the women’s division.
With 12 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals, UNP was crowned SCUAA 2025 Taekwondo Champion.
