The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) once again earned global recognition after securing a place among the world’s most innovative higher education institutions in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026.
UNP ranked 162nd overall in the WURI 2026 Global Top 500 Innovative Universities and further distinguished itself with Top 100 placements in thirteen innovation categories, including four Global Top 10 rankings.

UNP earned Global Top 10 placements in the following WURI 2026 innovation categories:
Rank 3 – Infrastructure/Technology
Rank 5 – Ethics and Integrity
Rank 5 – Future-Oriented Responses to Global Uncertainty and Geopolitical Risk
Rank 9 – Social Impact through Knowledge Transfer
These rankings highlight UNP’s performance in areas related to technology integration, ethical governance, institutional resilience, and community-oriented knowledge transfer.
