The University of Northern Philippines had its Memorandum of Agreement with the Sta. Catalina Rural Health Unit in a signing ceremony held on March 20, 2024.

The University was represented by Mr. Albert R. Tejero (Vice President for Finance and Administration) and Hon. Edgar R. Rapanut (Mayor) signed the MOA as witnessed by Dr. Mary Christine Villar (Medical Officer IV) and Dr. Vonnavic R. Agad (OIC Director, Center for Gender and Development).

Dr. Mae Oliva M. Piano, the CGAD Coordinator for Extension led the said agreement, hoping to be sustained through the extension programs of the Center for Gender and Development.
