MASTER CLASS ON INTERNATIONALIZATION ENDS WITH PROJECTS AND PLANS
The three-day SIRMATA: Region I Filipino Leaders in Advancing International Reputation (RI FLAIR 2) ended on October 20 with the presentation of all 18 participating schools on their projects and plans for internationalization.
Projects were focused on collaborative endeavors which aim to create more opportunities for academic discourse, development-oriented processes, and inclusive research authorship.
Dr. Christine N. Ferrer, Regional Director of CHED Regional Office I, stressed the strong points presented by the schools.
She hoped that all 18 universities and colleges will apply for internationalization to be on par with world standards.
The participants showed their commitment as they presented their implementation plans.
All universities are now aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and have pledged to align their respective institution’s goals and even organizational structure.
All these are geared towards preparing universities to become internationally renowned and ready for the global arena.
UNP is set to jump start its administrative body to have a head start in preparing for internationalization and sustainability efforts.
